On June 30, 2026, at the initiative of the Microfinance Association and the Banking Association, a business meeting was held at  the Parliament of Georgia,  with Shota Berekashvili, the Chair of the Parliamentary  Committee on Economic Policy.  Representatives of the National Bank, the Microfinance Association, and the Banking Association participated in the meeting, during which various pressing issues facing the financial sector were discussed.
