The present Regulation defines the rules and requirements for registration of a<br \/>\nmicrofinance organization (further referred to as MFO) at the National Bank of<br \/>\nGeorgia.<br \/>\n2. This Regulation was worked out on the basis of the Organic Law of Georgia \u201cOn<br \/>\nThe National Bank of Georgia\u201d and the Law of Georgia \u201cOn Microfinance<br \/>\nOrganizations\u201d.<br \/>\n3. A microfinance organization shall be entitled to carry out its activity under<br \/>\nArticle 4 of the Law of Georgia \u201cOn Microfinance Organizations\u201d only after being<br \/>\nregistered at the National Bank of Georgia.<br \/>\n4. The National Bank of Georgia shall register only the legal entities registered by<br \/>\nthe Tax Authorities of Georgia, whose organizational and legal form, kind of<br \/>\nactivity and business name comply with the requirements of this regulation and<br \/>\nLaws of Georgia \u201c On Microfinance Organizations\u201d as well as on \u201cEntrepreneurs\u201d.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Regulation for Registration of a Microfinance Organization at the National\u00a0Bank of Georgia 1.
