“Crystal” and “MBC” Microbanks Were Named Winners BARTA 2025 Awards

On February 9, the seventh annual “Best Annual Report and Transparency Award” (BARTA) ceremony took place.

Among the winners of BARTA 2025 were the Microbank “Crystal” and Microbank “MBC”, member organizations of the Georgian Microfinance Association.

“Crystal”  received the award for the best sustainability report in the Large Financial Institutions category, while “MBC” won in the Small and Medium-Sized  Organizations category.

It is noteworthy that both microbanks are multiple BARTA Award winners.

The annual BARTA Award aims to promote the adoption of modern reporting standards and regulations, encourage healthy competition, and raise  corporate standards. This, in turn, contributes to increasing investor confidence in companies at both the local and international levels.
